Benefits of Reiki
Reiki works on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels;

Reiki is a form of healing with the Universal Life Force Energy. Rei means “Universal” and refers to the spiritual dimension of the soul. Ki means “The vital life force energy that flows through all living things.” When combined, it means “Universal Life Force Energy.” It is thought to have originated as a Tibetan Buddhist practice that was rediscovered in the late 1800’s by a Dr. Mikao Usui, a Japanese Buddhist. To learn more about the background I recommend one do a google search on the Internet. Our Universe is filled with endless energy; all things are made of energy in various levels. Reiki is this Universal energy, which flows through the hands of the Reiki healer/practitioner/master into the body of the receiver. It is not my energy, it is the energy of God/Creator, and I am a channeler of this healing energy. It is a gift that exists within each of us, just as the ability of being intuitive does. Reiki is one of the few healing energies that can be used on oneself, for others, as a hands on or as a distance healing. One just needs to be attuned to the energy and taught how to channel it for healing. The attunement is simply a means to awaken your Reiki healing ability/power. Distance attunements are as effective as the personal attunements, the Divine knows no time or space. Simply placing the hands on oneself, or another person, or with pure intent, allows the energy to flow through the individual. There are many times that I will connect with a person whether through the phone, email or in person and the energy will start flowing through my hands and I let if flow. Reiki does not conflict with any other form of health care or healing, it enhances the healing process and provides a source of restoring energy while one is ill, under medical treatment, or in recovery. Reiki will also assist to heal/restore one’s emotional, mental as well as physical health/well being. Contact Sharon for further insight or if you have questions.
